Its been a while since I’ve written. I could say that I am going to make a resolution to write more, but my resolution is not to make them this year and instead to take one day at a time and do the best I can!!
My family is wonderful and SO happy the 2009 is behind us – it wasn’t a bad year, just a lot of struggles. Tina is great and is leaving tomorrow for a 9 day Buddihist Solitary Retreat – in silence for 9 days – I don’t think I would last one day.
Business is great! I have had the pleasure of taking many family photos this winter, and even had one wedding! The calendar is starting to fill for 2010 and I am preparing by taking some classes at Colorado Free University – I am SO excited!
In 2010 I am going to walk the Colfax Half Marathon, my training starts on Monday – I’m scared and excited. I am going to work on my stress this year and learn to just chill sometimes…..I am going to visit my mom more often and tell my wife I love her everyday
I honored my “family” this year by taking their last name of Hayes. The name change still is working through the legal channels, but I have begun the change and it is an amazing transformation. When I told dad – he was overcome with joy, mom was her usual silent, but gave me an approving hug and kiss. The kids asked “does this mean you are our sister now?” Yup! And happy as a clam about it!
